Posted byby Michael Langston July 8, 2024 share Clelia Ditano (left) and Steven Parpanesi – released to the mediaIn a poignant display of empathy, Steven Paparnesi, originally from Milan but now residing in southeast Italy, generously contributed to the funeral expenses of a young woman he had never met. The untimely death of 25-year-old Ciela Ditano in Fasano, Puglia, who tragically fell four floors when her building’s elevator door opened without an elevator inside, deeply moved Paparnesi. Paparnesi was reminded of his own loss when he heard the news of Ditano’s passing. His sister Kimberly had also died tragically at the age of 19, and Ditano’s death stirred up the lingering pain and turmoil from his sister’s demise. “I saw her parents drowning in grief, and I instantly knew I had to help them,” Paparnesi confided to Corriere del Mezzogiorno. Paparnesi’s compassionate donation of €2,500 (approximately $2,800) to the funeral service was an attempt to ease some of the financial strain on Ditano’s mourning family. “I was deeply moved by their situation, and so I chose to make this gesture to at least alleviate some of the financial pressure from Ciela’s family,” Paparnesi explained. Currently working as a maintenance staff member at a senior home with aspirations of becoming a tattoo and street artist, Paparnesi stressed that his act of generosity would not adversely affect his own life. “We young people often spend money frivolously, but I can donate a bit to someone in need right now without it negatively affecting my life,” he said. “I simply followed what my heart urged me to do.” SHARE This Young Man’s Kindhearted Act With Your Friends On Social Media… Source: Good News Network
